I chose Kabsat, La Union as my healing escape because it perfectly blends the laid-back beach vibe with a touch of charm and aesthetics. Something I always look for in my travels. The moment I arrived, the warm sunset glow reflecting on the shore, the rustic yet cozy ambiance, and the sound of waves instantly felt like a much-needed reset. Kabsat isn't just a beachfront restaurant; it’s a whole experience. From its dreamy interiors wooden accents, fairy lights, and boho-chic decor—to the comforting seaside breeze, every corner feels like a Pinterest-worthy moment. It’s the kind of place where you can sip on a pretty pink cocktail, journal your thoughts while watching the waves, and just let go of stress. What I loved most was how it balanced relaxation with a fun, lively atmosphere. The mornings are peaceful perfect for a quiet coffee by the shore while the evenings come alive with music, cocktails, and the best beachside night vibes. And of course, the food? A total dream! Think flavorful seafood platters, refreshing smoothie bowls, and aesthetic drinks that are both Instagrammable and delicious. Kabsat gave me that soft, healing escape I was craving, with just the right mix of pink sunsets, good food, and a touch of fun.  

How to Go to Kabsat La Union from BGC, Taguig: 

Getting to Kabsat, La Union from BGC is easy and totally worth the trip! If you’re commuting, you can take a Partas or Viron bus from Cubao or Pasay heading to San Juan, La Union (₱600-₱800, around 5-6 hours). Once you arrive at San Juan, you can take a tricycle to Kabsat, which is a short 5-minute ride away. If you’re driving, just take NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX, exit at Pozorrubio, and follow the road to San Juan, La Union about a 4-5 hour drive depending on traffic.  

Where to Stay: A Cozy, Instagrammable Stay Near the Beach

For a comfy and aesthetic place to stay, Balay Isabel is a great choice! At ₱3,000 for two pax, it offers a cozy yet stylish vibe that perfectly matches a girly and cutesy travel aesthetic. Plus, it’s just a 5-minute walk to the beach, making it super convenient for those sunrise or sunset strolls by the shore.
